NOIS began ten years ago as an informal gathering of Cleveland area illustrators who saw the need to communicate with one another regarding the rapidly changing field of illustration. With an equal interest in artistic excellence and smart business practices, the group began inviting various local artists to speak on a variety of topics.
NOIS meetings occur once per month. In general, speaker meetings are open to the public and are FREE. Other meetings are members-only events, and range from informal gatherings at local restaurants and museums to holiday theme parties. Attendees are encouraged to bring recent artwork for informal critiques.
