DONALD E. PEOPLES
Donald E. Peoples is a graphic designer, cartoonist and photographer. For over 20 years he has been a graphic artist for the Akron-Summit County Public Library. A National Cartoonists Society member, Donald is also a founding Board of Directors member of the ToonSeum, a museum of cartoon art in Pittsburgh, PA. He earned a BFA degree in graphic design from the University of Akron. Donald is a 2008 graduate of Project Blueprint, a development program for volunteer diversity. Donald's work has been exhibited at the Akron Art Museum, the Butler Institute of American Art, Valley Art Center, and the Summit County Executive's Office. His artwork has also appeared in several publications including The ABCs of Akron and Summit County Coloring and Activity Book, Attack of the Political Cartoonists, North: A Graphic Guide to Pittsburgh's North Side, The Clarke County (AL) Democrat, and the Cleveland Monitor. Audiences throughout Northeast Ohio have been educated and entertained with his presentations on cartooning and graphic design. CONTACT:
