The older I get, the more I realize how lucky I am to do this for a living. Every year brings new insight into the creation of imagery, both traditional and digital. I've been illustrating in the Cleveland area for 22 years. Lucky for me, I had the benefit of developing traditional drawing skills before computer processing power became great enough to be applicable in the field. The combination of the two has altered my career significantly. I also teach traditional watercolor at the Westlake Rec Center on Monday nights.
