Laurel A. Winters received her B.F.A. and M.F.A. degrees in painting and drawing from Virginia Commonwealth University. Her work has been in nationally competitive exhibitions, winning several awards. Ms. Winters' work takes two divergent yet consistent directions: traditionally realistic, as in her recent "Family Chaos" series, or more abstract, with a strong emotional impact, as in "Listening for Their Breathing." |
